These 2-ounce sinkers are the perfect size for rigging snatch hooks for alligators (where that method is legal for hunting them). We typically rig a 4X treble hook (size 2 or 1 have been our most effective sizes) about 18 to 24 inches up the main line. This setup has caught many dozen alligators up to 11-ft. 2-in. here in Georgia over the last several years. Swivel molded into sinker reduces line twist.
